Georgia’s foreign exchange reserves hit record $8.14 billion

Georgia’s international foreign exchange reserves rose by $613 million in August to reach a new all-time high of $8.14 billion.
The country’s reserves have increased by 56.4% over the past year. Gold accounted for 14.1% of the total, equivalent to $1.149 billion, according to Georgian media cited by Caliber.Az.
Updated data on the National Bank of Georgia’s operations in the foreign exchange market is expected to be published on October 7, 2026.
