Georgia’s foreign exchange reserves reach record high of $7.53 billion

Georgia's international foreign exchange reserves reached a record high in July, rising to $7.53 billion after increasing by $404.6 million during the month, according to the National Bank of Georgia.
The central bank said the country's reserves have expanded by 50% over the past year, marking their highest level on record, Georgian media reports.
Gold accounts for 13.5% of the total reserves, equivalent to approximately $1.014 billion.
The National Bank of Georgia said it will publish updated data on its foreign exchange market operations on September 7, 2026.
