Georgia’s foreign trade reaches $18.5 billion in first nine months of 2025

Georgia’s foreign trade turnover for the first nine months of 2025 increased by 9.1%, NewsGeorgia reports, citing the country’s Statistics Committee.
From January to September 2025, Georgia’s trade in goods (excluding undeclared trade) amounted to $18.545 billion, up 9.1% compared to the same period last year.
According to the committee, Georgian exports grew 7.7% this year, reaching $5.15 billion. Georgian suppliers imported 9.7% more goods, with total imports reaching $13.39 billion. The trade deficit stood at $8.242 billion, equivalent to 44% of total trade turnover.
In September alone, exports reached $701 million, up 14% year-on-year, while imports slightly decreased by 0.3% to $1.44 billion.
