Georgia’s new ambassador presents credentials to King Charles III

Georgia’s newly appointed ambassador to the United Kingdom, Ilia Darchiashvili, has officially presented his Letters of Credence to King Charles III at Buckingham Palace.

The ceremony took place on June 4, marking the formal start of Darchiashvili’s diplomatic mission in London, Caliber.Az reports via Georgian Foreign Ministry. 

During the audience with the King, discussions focused on bilateral relations between Georgia and the United Kingdom, as well as prospects for strengthening cooperation in various fields. Regional developments and current security challenges were also addressed, according to the Georgian side.

His Majesty King Charles III wished the ambassador success in his new role and in further advancing relations between the two countries.
