Georgia set to emerge as global economic leader, deputy minister says
Georgia is poised to become one of the world’s fastest-growing economies between 2025 and 2030, Deputy Minister of Economy Vakhtang Tsintsadze stated.
Tsintsadze highlighted a 6% year-on-year increase in real economic growth for October 2025. The country is projected to achieve an overall growth rate of 7.3% for the full year, Caliber.Az reports, citing Georgian media.
Tsintsadze stressed that the country’s economic policy remains consistent and predictable, creating a solid foundation for sustainable growth. International financial institutions and rating agencies have praised Georgia’s policies as balanced, describing the nation’s macroeconomic indicators as “healthy.”
The official also underscored the diversified nature of Georgia’s economy, noting substantial contributions from multiple sectors. Among the fastest-growing industries are information and communications, as well as transport and warehousing, which together play a crucial role in the country’s overall economic development.
