Georgia sets up new party

Lawyer of Georgian ex-President Mikheil Saakashvili - Nika Gvaramia, together with former leader of the Georgian United National Movement party Nika Melia, have announced the establishment of the Akhali party (New Party).

“Saakashvili’s lawyer and founder of the opposition Mtavari Arkhi TV channel Nika Gvaramia teamed up with former leader of the United National Movement Nika Melia. Together they unveiled the Akhali party today,” Sputnik.Georgia reports.

The party will participate in the parliamentary elections to be held in Georgia on October 26.
