Georgia, Singapore PMs discuss expanding bilateral cooperation
Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze held talks with Singaporean counterpart Lawrence Wong to discuss prospects for expanding bilateral cooperation, Georgian media reported, as cited by Caliber.Az.
The two leaders explored opportunities to deepen collaboration across sectors including tourism, transport, trade, the broader economy and investment. They also highlighted Georgia’s strategic role in facilitating transport connectivity between Europe and Asia.
Discussions also focused on strengthening political dialogue, as well as on Georgia’s economic performance and its investment environment, which officials described as favourable.
At the conclusion of the meeting, Kobakhidze invited Wong to pay an official visit to Georgia.
