Georgia strengthens ties with US in Washington talks

Georgia-US relations were the main topic during a meeting between the Chair of the Georgian Parliament’s Foreign Relations Committee, Nikoloz Samkharadze, and US Congressman Robert Aderholt.

Samkharadze stated that they had discussed relations between Georgia and the United States, including the readiness to enhance them, Georgia’s strategic role in transit and transport infrastructure, and that they had agreed on further cooperation, Caliber.Az reports via Georgian media.

He added that the Georgian Parliament and the US Congress will also collaborate on protecting children’s rights.
