Georgia, Switzerland map out next steps for closer cooperation PHOTO

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze met with Ignazio Cassis, Swiss Vice President, Minister of Foreign Affairs, and OSCE Chairperson-in-Office on the sidelines of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.

As Caliber.Az reports, citing Georgian media, the talks focused on Georgia-Switzerland relations and prospects for further strengthening bilateral cooperation.

The officials also discussed Cassis’ planned visit to Georgia in October in his capacity as OSCE Chairperson-in-Office.

Kobakhidze attended the opening of the UN General Assembly’s General Debate and is scheduled to deliver his address on September 24.
