Georgia, Türkiye discuss strengthening police cooperation in Tbilisi meeting

The Director of the Tbilisi Police Department under Georgia’s Ministry of Internal Affairs, Vaja Siradze, has held talks with internal affairs advisors at the Turkish Embassy in Georgia, according to a statement published by the Georgian Interior Ministry on Facebook.

The Turkish delegation included advisors Hakan Bejel and Nejmetdin Tetik, Caliber.Az reports.

During the meeting, both sides reviewed ongoing cooperation between their respective agencies and discussed opportunities to further expand collaboration in the field of internal security.

Particular attention was given to the exchange of experience and best practices, which officials said would contribute to strengthening the partnership between Georgia and Türkiye.
