Georgia: Worker killed in Tkibuli mine accident

A worker has died following an accident at the Dzidziguri mine in the city of Tkibuli, in Georgia’s Imereti region, Rustavi 2 confirmed.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs has opened an investigation under Article 240 of the Criminal Code, which covers violations of safety regulations in mining, construction, and other types of work.
