Georgian airline starts selling tickets for flights to Moscow

Georgia’s flag carrier Georgian Airways has begun selling tickets for flights from Tbilisi to Moscow with a stopover in Yerevan.

It is specified that these are partner flights of the Armenian airline Air Dilijans. The travel time is 4.5 hours, including a 30-minute connection in Yerevan, Lenta.ru reported on May 2, citing Izvestia.

“We started selling tickets for this flight as soon as Armenia Airlines was renamed,” the source said.

You can purchase travel documents both on the website of the Georgian Airways carrier and on the Air Dilijans portal.

Earlier, the head of the State Duma Committee on CIS Affairs, Eurasian Integration and Relations with Compatriots, Leonid Kalashnikov, said that Russia and Georgia are now on the verge of resuming direct flights, as well as abolishing visas.

At the same time, the representative of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation stressed that it is still difficult to judge when these decisions will be made and in what order.
