Georgian, Armenian security chiefs meet in Tbilisi

A meeting took place in Tbilisi between the Head of Georgia’s State Security Service (SSG), Mamuka Mdinaradze, and the Director of Armenia’s National Security Service, Andranik Simonyan.
According to the SSG press service, the two sides discussed regional challenges and prospects for developing security cooperation, Caliber.Az reports, citing Georgian media.
Particular attention was paid to the importance of bilateral coordination and information exchange between the relevant agencies of both countries.
Mdinaradze highlighted Georgia’s positive role in maintaining and strengthening peace in the Caucasus, and thanked his Armenian counterpart for the visit, emphasising its significance for regional dialogue.
