Georgian court sentences four more defendants over presidential palace storming

A court in Georgia has sentenced four more defendants in the case over the storming of the presidential palace in Tbilisi on October 4, 2025.

According to the reports, the Tbilisi City Court fined one defendant 5,000 lari ($1,880), sentenced another to seven years in prison, and handed two others five-year prison terms, Caliber.Az reports via Georgian media.

A total of 64 people are involved in the case. Of those, 34 pleaded guilty and reached plea agreements with prosecutors.

The court said 19 defendants who refused plea bargains were given prison sentences, while one other defendant was fined.
