Georgian interior minister visits Armenia to discuss law enforcement

Georgian Interior Minister Sulkhan Tamazashvili has departed for an official visit to Armenia to hold bilateral talks focused on cooperation in law enforcement, the Georgian Interior Ministry has announced.
The visit comes at the invitation of Tamazashvili’s Armenian counterpart, Arpine Sargsyan, Caliber.Az reports.
According to a statement posted by the ministry on Facebook, Tamazashvili is leading an official delegation to Yerevan.
The Georgian delegation will also visit Armenian police units to observe their operations.
Tamazashvili is also due to meet Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and National Security Service Director Andranik Simonyan.
