Georgian local elections: Turnout reaches 17% by noon

By 12:00 pm on Saturday, voter turnout in Georgia’s local elections reached 17.15 per cent, with 602,445 citizens casting their ballots, according to Central Election Commission (CEC) Press Speaker Natia Iosseliani, as reported by Caliber.Az, citing Georgian media.

The elections are being held across 64 cities and districts, where voters are choosing mayors and deputies for local consultative bodies, known as sakrebulo.
