Georgian PM begins official visit to Kazakhstan

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze has arrived in Kazakhstan for an official visit aimed at strengthening bilateral cooperation between the two countries.

During the visit, Kobakhidze is expected to take part in an official welcoming ceremony with Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev at the Palace of Independence. The leaders will hold talks in both a one-on-one format and with expanded delegations, Caliber.Az reports via Georgian media

Following the discussions, government agencies from Georgia and Kazakhstan are expected to sign memorandums of cooperation in several areas.

Kobakhidze will also meet with Kazakh Prime Minister Olzhas Bektanov, with members of both governments participating in the talks.

The Georgian delegation includes Foreign Minister Maka Bochorishvili, Economy and Sustainable Development Minister Mariam Kvrivishvili, Environment and Agriculture Minister David Songulashvili, and Head of the Government Administration Levan Jorjoliani.
