Georgian PM departs for Italy to open consulate in Milan
Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze has departed for Italy, according to a statement from the Georgian government’s administration.
During the visit, Kobakhidze is set to take part in the official inauguration ceremony of Georgia’s new consulate general in Milan, Caliber.Az reports via Georgian media.
He will also attend a formal reception marking both the opening of the consulate and Georgia’s Independence Day.
The Prime Minister is accompanied by a high-level delegation, including First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Levan Davitashvili, Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister Irakli Chikovani, Foreign Minister Maka Bochorishvili, Culture Minister Tinatin Rukhadze, and Head of the Government Administration Levan Zhorzholiani.
