Georgian PM thanks Azerbaijan for long-term gas supply at preferential tariff
Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze has stated that Azerbaijan will supply Georgia with social gas at a preferential tariff for the next 20 years, adding that special thanks should, of course, be expressed to the Azerbaijani side.
He said relations between Azerbaijan and Georgia have reached an “ideal level” for constructive dialogue, with current bilateral relations allowing the two sides to engage not as in a standard inter-state dialogue, but as in a friendly discussion of shared interests, Caliber.Az reports, citing Georgian media.
According to him, in all matters, both sides have ideal conditions, and interests are equally taken into account.
“The agreement was concluded for 20 years, and it was set to expire at the end of this year. It was especially important for our country and our people that the contract was extended for another 20 years,” he emphasised.
