Georgian president awards foreign agents law protester

Georgian President Salome Zurabishvili has awarded Nana Malashkhia, a participant in the rally against the bill on foreign agents, with the Medal of Honour.

On March 7, during the dispersal of the demonstrators, Malashkhia stood holding an EU flag and in spite of a strong water jet from a water cannon, she did not fall down and held the flagpole, according to the Georgian leader's official website.

Later, other protesters began to help her.
