Georgian president has no invitation for ambassadors’ conference

The Georgian presidential administration has announced that Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili was not invited to the “Ambassadors’ Conference” - the annual meeting of the heads of Georgian diplomatic missions.

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili and Foreign Minister Ilia Darchiashvili attended the opening ceremony of the event entitled “Ambassadors’ Conference 2023, Georgia – a candidate country for the European Union” which is being held from December 26 to December 28, Caliber.Az reports citing the Georgian media.

This is an annual meeting. President Zourabichvili was invited in 2022, but she did not come because there was not a seat for her upon the protocol.
