Georgian president heads to Slovakia for high-level talks

Georgian President Mikheil Kavelashvili has travelled to Bratislava for an official visit, where he is set to hold talks with Slovak President Peter Pellegrini, according to Georgian media.
Kavelashvili headed to the Slovak capital with a delegation for a programme that includes both one-on-one and broader discussions with Slovak officials, Caliber.Az reports per Georgian media.
The two presidents are expected to issue a joint statement to the press following their meetings.
The Georgian leader is also scheduled to meet Slovakia’s deputy prime minister, as well as the speaker of the National Council.
