Georgian president receives credentials from ambassadors of six states
A formal ceremony for the presentation of credentials by resident and non-resident ambassadors took place at the Presidential Palace of Georgia, according to Georgian media reports.
During the event, Georgian President Mikheil Kavelashvili received credentials from resident and non-resident ambassadors representing six countries: Iceland, the Federative Republic of Brazil, the State of Qatar, the State of Kuwait, the Republic of Panama, and the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria.
After the conclusion of the official ceremony, President Kavelashvili extended his best wishes to the ambassadors, expressing hope for success in their future diplomatic missions.
The ceremony was also attended by Head of the Presidential Administration Ketevan Kviniqidze and Deputy Foreign Minister Aleksandre Khvtisiashvili.
