German actor Til Schweiger joins Jackie Chan film being shot in Kazakhstan VIDEO

German actor Til Schweiger has arrived in Almaty to join the cast of Armour of God 4: Ultimatum, an international action film starring Jackie Chan that is being filmed in Kazakhstan.

Sәlem Entertainment announced Schweiger’s participation, noting that the actor is known for films including Knockin’ on Heaven’s Door, Quentin Tarantino’s Inglourious Basterds and Guy Ritchie’s The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare. Schweiger has appeared in more than 80 films during his career, Caliber.Az reports per Kazakh media. 

The actor is expected to appear alongside Jackie Chan in the film.

Filming for Armour of God 4: Ultimatum began in Kazakhstan’s Mangystau region in June 2026, with the production using the area’s distinctive natural landscapes as locations.

Kazakh filmmaker and stunt coordinator Robert Kun is directing the project, while Kazakh actor Rustem Omarov is participating as both an actor and screenwriter.

Parts of the film have also been shot in Baku, Azerbaijan.
