German foreign minister to visit Armenia for bilateral talks
German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock is set to pay a working visit to Armenia on November 19.
During the visit, Baerbock will hold a one-on-one meeting with Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan, followed by a broader, extended-format meeting, Caliber.Az reports citing Armenian media.
The discussions are expected to cover key issues in bilateral relations, though specific topics have not been disclosed.
The Armenian Foreign Ministry announced the visit just hours before it was scheduled to begin, and there are no plans for a press conference or media interaction during the trip.
The Foreign Ministers of the two countries last met on September 24, on the margins of the UN General Assembly.
The FMs discussed a wide range of issues of mutual interest: bilateral agenda, deepening of the Armenia-EU partnership and regional issues.
