Global leaders, business experts to gather in Tbilisi for fifth Silk Road Forum
The fifth edition of the Tbilisi Silk Road Forum is scheduled to take place in Georgia’s capital on October 22-23 under the patronage of the Prime Minister, the Georgian Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development announced.
This year’s forum, held for the fifth consecutive time, is expected to host up to 2,000 delegates from various countries, Caliber.Az reports, referencing Georgian press.
The main theme and slogan for 2025 is: “Invest in Connectivity – Grow in Stability.”
The prestigious event will bring together high-ranking politicians, business leaders, representatives of international organisations, prime ministers and deputy prime ministers from regional countries, industry ministers from nations outside the region, leading global companies, international financial institutions, and world-class experts.
Over the years, the Tbilisi Silk Road Forum has established itself as a high-level international platform for dialogue among governments and for multilateral cooperation between states, international organisations, and the private sector.
It also serves as a key venue for discussions on international trade, economic relations, and transport and logistics links between Europe and Asia.
Specific focus will be placed on the Middle Corridor, its development, and related new projects and programmes across various sectors.
The forum will officially commence on October 22 at the Zakaria Paliashvili Tbilisi State Opera and Ballet Theatre, bringing together global participants to advance connectivity and stability initiatives across the Silk Road region.
