Gorgia ready to host future meetings between Azerbaijani, Armenian officials

Georgia is ready to hold forthcoming meetings between Azerbaijan and Armenia.

The remarks came from the country’s Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili in a Twitter publication on July 16.

"Georgia remains committed to its positive role in the format of a dialogue that promotes peace and stability in our region," Garibashvili said.

After hosting a meeting of the Foreign Ministers of Azerbaijan and Armenia in Tbilisi on July 16, he voiced Georgia’s readiness to hold future meetings between representatives of the two countries.

"Peace is certainly important for the prosperity of our peoples," Garibashvili concluded.
