Governor: Ukrainian drone attack hits ferry in Russia’s Krasnodar
Russia’s Krasnodar region Governor Veniamin Kondratyev has said that a Ukrainian drone attack targeted a ferry in Kavkaz Port, resulting in casualties.
Kondratyev confirmed that the attack occurred on July 23 early morning and that emergency services have been deployed to the scene, Caliber.Az reports citing the Russian media.
He noted that the strike caused a localised fire, which has been contained with no immediate threat to surrounding areas.
Kondratyev expressed his condolences to the families of the crew members and port employees affected by the attack.
He assured that the victims are receiving all necessary assistance. Ukrainian officials have yet to respond to these claims.
