Guard killed in fourth attack on Iran's Bushehr nuclear facility
Iranian authorities have reported new attacks targeting both the Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant and a chemical facility in the country’s southwest, resulting in casualties and damage to infrastructure amid an ongoing escalation.
According to the Atomic Energy Organisation of Iran, cited by Caliber.Az, a projectile struck near the perimeter fence of the Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant earlier in the day. The impact caused a blast wave that damaged one of the station’s auxiliary buildings and killed a member of the facility’s physical protection service. Officials emphasised that the plant’s main operational units were not affected.
