CIS intelligence services sign cooperation memorandum in Samarkand updated
At the 21st meeting of the Heads of Security and Intelligence Services of CIS member states, a memorandum on cooperation was officially signed.
The memorandum formalises the parties’ commitment to collaborate on ensuring the security of Commonwealth countries against external negative influences.

The 21st session of the Meeting of Heads of Security and Intelligence Services of CIS member states has opened today in Samarkand, Uzbek media reports, as cited by Caliber.Az.
Representatives from the intelligence and security services of Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Russia, and the Central Asian countries are attending the forum. This marks the first time the meeting is being held on Uzbek territory.
The session is chaired by Kurbanov, head of Uzbekistan’s State Security Service (SGB).
Participants will discuss current regional challenges and security threats, as well as explore ways to enhance cooperation among intelligence agencies. At the conclusion of the forum, the attendees are expected to agree on priority areas for collaboration in ensuring regional security.
