Military helicopter crash claims six lives in Türkiye's Isparta VIDEO/UPDATED
Six Turkish servicemen were killed when a military helicopter crashed during a training flight after colliding with another helicopter in Isparta's Keçiborlu district.
The second helicopter successfully executed a safe landing, Caliber.Az reports per Turkish media.
Emergency services, including ambulances and fire crews, were promptly dispatched to the crash site.
Isparta Governor Abdullah Erin, speaking to TRT Haber, confirmed the collision between the two training helicopters and stated that investigations at the scene are ongoing.
Among the martyrs was Brigadier General İsa Baydilli, Commander of the Isparta Army Aviation School.
The Ministry of National Defense has confirmed the death toll, with further updates expected as investigations continue.
