Szijjártó made the remarks at a joint press conference with his Armenian counterpart in Yerevan, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Armenian media.
“I have asked the minister to open a Hungarian consulate in Yerevan. We will appeal Wizz Air to add Budapest to its flight list to ensure interaction between our countries,” Szijjártó said.
He also said that Hungary intends to allocate 40 million forints ($110,000) as financial assistance to families, who arrived in Armenia from Karabakh.
The minister added that an agreement has been reached that Budapest will provide 30 Armenian students with scholarships to study at Hungarian universities.
