IAEA director general holds meetings before visiting Ukraine's Zaporizhzhia plant

Ahead of his trip to the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant (ZNPP), Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Rafael Grossi has met with Ukrainian Energy Minister German Galushchenko and Chief State Inspector for Nuclear and Radiation Safety Oleh Korikov.

“Started my 10th visit to Ukraine meeting Energy Minister German Galushchenko, Chief State Inspector for Nuclear and Radiation Safety Oleh Korikov, and Acting Chief Executive Officer of National Nuclear Energy Generating Company ‘Energoatom’ Kotin Petro, and exchanging on our support to Ukraine’s nuclear power plants ahead of my ZNPP visit. IAEA fully committed to safety and security of Ukrainian nuclear sites, with presence at each,” Caliber.Az reports, citing Grossi's message on X.
