Ibrahim Kalin: Türkiye, Israel discuss gas transportation to Europe

Türkiye and Israel are discussing the transportation of gas to Europe, the meetings of the delegations will be held in October, the official representative of the President of Türkiye Ibrahim Kalin said. 

Türkiye believes that gas from the Eastern Mediterranean can become an alternative to Russian gas for the European Union (EU), according to Lenta.ru. 

Türkiye is ready to help the EU in this process and is holding negotiations.

According to a representative of Turkish leader Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's office, the next meeting is expected in October in Türkiye.
