IDF says it destroyed underground route, weapons depot used by Hezbollah
Israeli forces have destroyed an underground route and a large cache of weapons belonging to Hezbollah, according to the Israel Defence Forces (IDF).
The IDF said troops from its 146th Division located and struck an arms depot, anti-tank missile positions, observation posts and buildings used by the group for military purposes in southern Lebanon, Caliber.Az reports.
It said these sites were used to prepare and carry out attacks against Israeli forces and civilians.

In separate operations over the past 24 hours, military engineers from the division dismantled what the IDF described as an underground tunnel route belonging to Hezbollah. Troops from the 226th Brigade also uncovered a tunnel shaft, an anti-tank missile position and a significant number of explosive devices, the army said.
The IDF added that Hezbollah had launched several explosive drones towards Israeli forces in southern Lebanon on April 27, south of the forward defence line. The drones detonated near troops, though no injuries were reported.
Israel described the incident as a “serious violation” of ceasefire understandings by Hezbollah.
“The IDF will continue to operate against threats to the State of Israel and its forces, in accordance with political directives,” the military said.
