IDF use phosphorus munitions in Gaza
Reports from Al Mayadeen TV channel indicate that the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have employed phosphorus munitions in the southern Gaza Strip, particularly north of the town of Rafah, resulting in fires.
However, casualty details remain undisclosed.
On June 4, it was also reported that the Israeli army dropped phosphorus bombs in a strike on towns in southern Lebanon in response to shelling by the Shiite Hezbollah movement.
Earlier, French President Emmanuel Macron deemed the timing inappropriate for recognizing the state of Palestine, while the Labour Party of Great Britain, poised as a leading contender in the upcoming parliamentary elections, intends to include the recognition of Palestine as an independent state in its electoral agenda.
