Inaugural Eurasian Forum explores AI and data science frontiers Baku welcomes global minds
The first Eurasian Forum focused on artificial intelligence (AI) and data science has officially commenced in Baku, held at ADA University.
The event has attracted leading scientists from around the world, who specialize in AI theory, innovative methodologies, and the application of data science across various fields, including medicine, cybersecurity, sports, and agriculture, Caliber.Az reports, citing local media.
During the forum's opening, Fariz Ismailzada, Vice Rector of ADA University, delivered a welcoming address. He highlighted the institution's evolution from a diplomatic academy to a university, emphasizing the increasing significance of IT. This transition included merging the IT and engineering school with the diplomatic academy.
“Since then, we have become a comprehensive university. Information technology, computer science, and computer engineering hold paramount importance for us, and we devote considerable attention to them. We actively collaborate with industry partners, engaging companies in research and development efforts. I am delighted to see international participants and speakers from countries such as Israel, Portugal, Korea, the USA, and Russia. Although today's conference may not be large, it is of great significance for our students and researchers,” he remarked.
Fariz Jafarov, Executive Director of the Center for Analysis and Coordination of the IV Industrial Revolution (4SİM), also addressed attendees at the forum's opening.
