Azerbaijan’s Minister of Health, Teymur Musayev, recently met with Lu Mei, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China, to discuss the evolving partnership between the two nations.
Minister Musayev highlighted the dynamic progress in Azerbaijani-Chinese relations, crediting the leadership of both countries for elevating ties through the Joint Statement on the Establishment of a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, Caliber.Az reports, citing the ministry.
He emphasised that this strategic partnership encompasses multiple sectors, with healthcare cooperation holding particular importance. Ambassador Lu Mei expressed her satisfaction with the warm relations and conveyed optimism about continued joint efforts in the healthcare sector.
The meeting focused on the current state and prospects of collaboration, including medical education, scientific research, pharmaceuticals, and the adoption of innovative technologies, reflecting a shared commitment to deepen bilateral ties in healthcare and related fields.
