Indian, Armenian military officials confer on global security
An Indian military delegation has arrived in Yerevan for strategic consultations with Armenian defence officials, focusing on regional and international security dynamics, as well as bilateral military cooperation.
First Deputy Minister of Defence, Chief of the General Staff of the Armenian Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Edward Asryan, met with a delegation from India’s National Defence College led by Major General Samarth Nagar, Caliber.Az reports, citing Armenian media.
The Indian delegation is in Armenia on a study visit from June 9 to 13, as part of broader efforts to enhance defence ties and mutual understanding between the two countries.
During the meeting, both sides exchanged views on pressing regional and global security challenges, with a particular focus on the South Caucasus and Indo-Pacific strategic landscapes.
