Indian student brutally killed in Armenia

The body of an Indian citizen with numerous mutilations has been found near the building materials pavilion in Armenia’s capital Yerevan.

The police officers were informed about the murder on August 28 morning, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Armenian media.

The incident occurred on David Bek Street in the Erebuni administrative district.

The policemen who arrived at the scene of the incident found the body of a young man with multiple head injuries while a bloody scrap metal was located nearby.

The killed Indian national reportedly studied at one of Yerevan’s universities. A criminal case has been launched into the case; an investigation is underway.
