Ingushetia keen to establish ties with Azerbaijan across multiple sectors
During the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF), Head of the Republic of Ingushetia, Mahmud-Ali Kalimatov, revealed plans to forge collaborations with Azerbaijan and Bahrain in various industries.
Speaking to TASS, Kalimatov outlined intentions to explore joint ventures in the food industry, IT-technologies, and tourism sectors.
Meetings scheduled with delegations from Bahrain and Azerbaijan aim to discuss potential projects, including direct flights from Ingushetia to these countries, investments in the republic's food industry, and the incorporation of new residents into the IT park being established in Magas.
Kalimatov expressed confidence that negotiations would culminate in tangible agreements.
Moreover, discussions are expected to center on organizing business missions between Ingushetia and these countries, exploring opportunities for mutual investment and trade. Plans also include deliberations on the reconstruction of energy facilities, hotel construction, and the development of the Achaluki resort.
