International exercise Anatolian Phoenix 2023 underway in Turkish Konya PHOTO

The international search and rescue exercise "Anatolian Phoenix-2023" ("Anadolu Ankası-2023") continues in the Turkish city of Konya.

The Ministry of Defense told Caliber.Az that in accordance with the plan, the next stage of the international exercises included various tasks on parachute training and patrolling activities. According to the scenario, the exercise participants successfully carried out tasks to search, rescue and evacuate crew members who had crashed behind enemy lines.

The focus of the exercises was on improving the skills of personnel in the use of parachutes and further enhancing their combat and special training.

It should be noted that at the international exercises, which will last until June 16, Azerbaijan will be represented by pilots, technical personnel and aircraft of the Azerbaijan Air Force, as well as servicemen of the Azerbaijan Naval Forces and Special Forces.
