International post office evacuated in Moscow due to mine mockups

Twenty-two people have been evacuated from a building near Komsomolskaya Square in Moscow.

Mine-like objects were the reason for the evacuation, Kommersant reports.

According to Yandex.map, the building houses Russian Post branch No117676, and the Central Postal Customs Office, TASS quoted emergency services as saying.

According to the reports, the items were found on the ninth floor of the building.

"The inspection revealed that they were fake items, the evacuation has been completed and the facility is back in operation," the agency was told by Russian Post.
