Iran accuses US of early breach of ceasefire

Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei posted a video on social media showing White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt telling journalists that Lebanon is not included in the two-week ceasefire agreement.

“If this isn’t yet another case of the U.S. early reneging, then what is it?!” Baghaei wrote alongside the clip on X.

He also shared April 8’s post by Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on X, stating that Iran and the United States “agreed to an immediate ceasefire everywhere, including Lebanon.”
