Iran allows foreign students to leave via land borders without special permission

The head of the Student Affairs Office and chairman of the Higher Council for Planning and Management of Foreign Students at Iran’s Ministry of Science announced that foreign students will be allowed to exit the country through all land borders without needing special authorisation, Nour News reports.

Universities are required to fully assist foreign students in organising their departure and to inform them of any changes to final exam schedules or thesis defences. Relevant decisions must be communicated to foreign students promptly and in full.
