Iran announces date for snap presidential election

Mohsen Eslami, Spokesman of Iran’s election headquarters, has said that snap presidential elections may be held in the country on June 28.

"June 28 can be considered the day of presidential elections in Iran," Eslami stressed, APA reports, citing Mehr News Agency.

The registration of candidates who will take part in Iran's presidential election due to the death of Ebrahim Raisi will begin on May 28.
