Iran announces new wave of True Promise-4 strikes on Israeli, US targets VIDEO
Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has announced the launch of the 89th wave of strikes under its “True Promise-4” operation, claiming a large-scale coordinated assault on US and Israeli targets across West Asia.
The strikes involved more than 100 heavy missiles, combat drones, and around 200 rocket projectiles targeting US and Israeli positions, Sabereen News reports.
In its statement, the IRGC said the operation was carried out in coordination with allied forces in the region and was dedicated to fighters it described as “martyrs of the resistance” in Yemen.
The IRGC stated that the operations, which it said were carried out in coordination with allied “resistance” groups, focused on Israeli locations including Eilat, Tel Aviv, and Bnei Brak, with the aim of hitting military facilities and concentrations of Israeli forces.
The IRGC also claimed that US-linked targets were hit, including shelters in Bahrain and a group of American helicopters at a regional base. It alleged that 80 people were killed in the attack on shelters in Bahrain and that one helicopter was destroyed while others sustained significant damage.
The group further asserted that the attacks had wider effects, including disruptions in Israeli-held areas ahead of an upcoming Jewish holiday, as well as broader impacts such as strains on services and rising economic pressure.
