Iran announces review of transit rules through Strait of Hormuz

Iran has announced that it is revising the rules governing maritime passage through the Strait of Hormuz, Ali Bagheri, deputy secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, has stated on the sidelines of the First International Security Forum.
He said conditions for vessel passage through the Strait of Hormuz will change and a new regulatory framework will be introduced, Caliber.Az report, citing Iranian media.
Bagheri added that Iran and Oman are holding talks to develop new rules for navigation in the strategic waterway.
Addressing the question about the fate of Iran’s stockpiles of enriched uranium, he noted that the issue is not currently on the agenda,
