Iran arrests 14 in Kerman over alleged links to US and Israel

Authorities in Kerman Province, Iran, have arrested 14 people suspected of having links with foreign entities, according to the Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA).

Citing a statement from the provincial prosecutor’s office, the report said the suspects were detained by intelligence agents from the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.

According to the prosecutor’s office, the detained individuals are believed to be “key elements linked to the axis of the United States and Israel” and are suspected of planning what authorities described as “anti-security activities.”

The identities of the detainees and the location where they are being held were not disclosed.
