Iran arrests four Jaish al-Adl members in foiled terror plot

Iranian security forces successfully thwarted a planned sabotage operation, arresting a four-member team affiliated with the terrorist group Jaish al-Adl in the southeastern province of Sistan and Baluchestan.

The arrests occurred on Monday in the village of Ghaderabad, located in the Khash region of the province, Caliber.Az reports, citing Iranian media.

According to Iranian authorities, the detainees were in the process of transferring explosive shipments within Iran. The security operation led to the seizure of 10 firearms, 3 RPG missiles, 4 radio devices, and additional ammunition. These items were confiscated before the group could execute any planned attacks.

Jaish al-Adl, a group that has carried out multiple terrorist operations inside Iran, has been a focal point of security concerns. The Iranian government has accused the group of receiving support from the United States and Israel, allegations that have been a recurring theme in Iran's official narrative regarding regional security threats.
